Unaware of my own identity,
I gave myself to you,
Succumbing to the promise,
Trying something new.

Undervalued, I am vulnerable,
Hoping to be seen,
Scared of being trampled,
Accepting when you’re mean.

Unequipped and inexperienced,
I take what I can get,
Tortured by the memories,
Always being left.

I am left forever wanting,
Of a love for me is true,
Not able to see the tragedies,
Over analyzing my life’s steps, adieu.

If I could do it over,
Start my life a new,
Would my choices have been different,
Would I ever have love you?
